Velour is very proud to welcome Epic recording artist Sara Bareilles performing on Saturday February 16th. If you haven't heard of Sara Bareilles you must be living under a rock. Her video "Love Song" is all over MTV and VH1 and she has recently appeared on MTV's TRL along with several late night talk shows. Nov 30, 2007 Midnight screening of the new Sigur Ros concert film "Heima"

Velour was lucky enough to be chosen as on of the few locations to screen the new award winning concert film "HEIMA" from the critically acclaimed band Sigur Ros. The sneak preview screening will take place at midnight after Friday's (11/30) Joshua James/ Palomino concert. Limited seating available so arrive early.

Velour will be closed for the month of July for minor renovations, equipment repairs etc. but don't worry, we will be back open on August 1st. Apr 05, 2007 Richard Buckner at Velour!

Velour is very proud to welcome indie/ alt-country pioneer Richard Buckner (Merge Records: Arcade Fire, M. Ward, Spoon, ...Trail of Dead etc.) to Velour on Thursday April 12th. Opening for Richard Buckner and then joining him on stage as his back up band will be Ohio indie rockers "Six Parts Seven" (A Rolling Stone Hot Band!) and local favorite Brinton Jones (of Palomino). Tickets are available in advance for $8 at Velour during night time business hours, Slowtrain Records in SLC, Smithstix outlets and ktix.net. Tickets will be $10 at the door (7:30pm). This is another lineup of bands that normally wouldn't come through Provo so come out and show your support so we can continue bringing these quality of bands to town.

Mar 09, 2007 Rocky Votolato tickets

Getting alot of calls and emails about the availabilty of Rocky Votolato tickets. At this point all ticket outlets are sold out but there will be a limited amount of tickets that were held aside to sell at the door. We don't know that exact number but it will be limited and the only way you can get them is to come down early and get in line. None of these remaining tickets will be available for sale before the doors open. These remaining tickets will be sold for the "day of show" price of $15. Here are the details about this great show: Velour is very proud to welcome back Seattle singer/songwriter Rocky Votolato. Opening for Rocky will be touring band Slender Means and local favorite Joshua James. Doors will open at 7:30pm.

Jun 04, 2006 Battle of the Bands Week at Velour!!

Velour will be holding our "Summer Battle of the Bands" June 5th-10th!! There will be four bands per night Monday-Friday with the winners of each night moving on to the Saturday finals to compete for great cash and prizes. The BOTB will feature 20 of the best up & coming bands from the area and a variety of music genres. These BOTB are a great way to introduce bands and their fans to other bands and music that they might not normally see/hear and hopefully build a stronger music community. Bands will be judged by a panel of qualified judges on the following categories. Musicianship, song writing, crowd response, stage presence, and vocal performance. There will also be a crowd vote which will give bonus points to the band's final score and may determine the winner in a close competition, so be sure to come support and vote for your favorite band! Doors will open each night at 7:30pm and music will start promptly at 8pm/$5. click on the "Shows" page for the entire BOTB lineup and come support local musc!

Velour Live Music Gallery is proud to anounce that nationally acclaimed indie singer-songwriters Rocky Votolato (Barsuk Records) and Damien Jurado (recently on tour with Low)will be gracing our stage on April 1st! (No, this isn't an April Fools prank). These are two of the biggest names to play Provo in years so do not miss this show. Joining Rocky and Damien will be fellow Seattle musician J. Tillman and local favorite Brinton Jones of Palomino who will be doing a rare solo acoustic set.
